Can I download a movie on Playvod?
On which device can I download a movie?
You can legally download a movie or series from the Playvod application. Our application is free. Search for "Playvod" in the download platforms: PlayStore/GoogleStore if you have an Android smartphone or tablet and in the AppStore if you have an iPhone or Apple tablet (iPad). Click on "Install/Download" and log in.
How to download movies
If you are a Playvod subscribed customer: Access our entire Video on Demand (VOD) catalog through our application after logging in. Choose the movie to download for offline viewing. You can download multiple movies. However, please note that not all of our VOD content is available for download. Click on the film's description page, and a "Download" button will indicate whether the video can be downloaded.
You can find movies to download using the search bar and our category directories.
Are downloaded movies saved on my mobile device?
The downloaded movies are saved within our Playvod application and not in the memory of your smartphone or tablet. This is the principle of video-on-demand services as part of streaming.
How to view a downloaded VOD and start playback?
Log in to your Playvod account using the app. Click on the 'Downloads' tab. Here, you will find your recently downloaded movies. Select the video you want and start watching by clicking the 'Play' button.
How long do my downloaded VODs remain available?
When you choose to download a movie online using our application, it:
- Remains available for 30 days in the 'Downloads' tab of your Playvod app as long as the movie playback hasn't started.
- Remains available for 48 hours in this tab once playback has been initiated.
